Scott Wingo on Fire For Rancho Cucamonga

Former Mav and Gamecock finding his stroke for Quakes.

Former College World Series Most Oustanding Player Scott Wingo is in a groove for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League. 

In his last eight games Wingo has gone 10-23, for a .435 clip. The hot streak has helped Wingo lift his average to .265 overall. 

Wingo while batting out of the leadoff spot, but then cooled, seeing his average dip to .224, which resulted in him being moved down the batting order.

Before it came to an end today, Wingo had put together a seven-game hitting streak, which also saw him get seven walks in that span. His on-base percentage on the year is a robust .392.

Wingo has been playing second base for the Quakes, who are 21-23 on the year.
