The second annual TruBallers 5on5 kicked off on Friday night before an overflow crowd at the Mauldin Sports Center.
The tournament's host, Trevor Booker, was on hand to mark the tournament's opening games. Booker is a Union native, Clemson grad and current member of the NBA's Washington Wizards.
Booker will lead a basketball camp for kids tonight at 7 along with the tournament's co-host Josh Howard of the Utah Jazz.

The tournnament continues with a full slate of games today starting at 9 a.m. at the Sports Center and at 2 p.m. at the gym at the Ray Hopkins Senior Center.
The double-elimination tourney concludes on Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Sports Center.
