Upstate Soldier Killed In Ga. Helicopter Crash
The 30-year-old was an Inman native

A Spartanburg County native was one of two U.S. Army soldiers killed in a helicopter crash at Fort Benning, Ga., on Monday.
Capt. John D. Hortman, 30, of Inman and 37-year-old Chief Warrant Officer 3 Steven B. Redd of Lancaster, Calif., were killed when their AH-6M Little Bird crashed during a routine exercise.
