Student Charged In Separate Bomb Threat at Woodmont Middle School
13 year-old released to parents.

Greenville County Sheriff’s office have arrested a 13-year old female student from Woodmont Middle School in connection with the bomb threat made there earlier on Thursday. It was the second bomb threat this week and the third in the past two weeks. The student has been charged with Making a Bomb Threat and Disturbing a School. Deputies do not believe the student was acting as a copycat and is not responsible for the previous bomb threats. The student has been released to her parents to await trial.
The School Resource Officer saw a handwritten note in a rest room and notified authorities. The school was placed on lockdown while a bomb-sniffing dog searched the premises. No explosive devices were found.
