Beach Sweep Set for Saturday
Public invited to clear litter from beaches, marshes and rivers.

Thousands are set to enter the water this weekend to remove a year's worth of trash from beaches, rivers and marshes.
There are at least three town-sponsored sweep sites in Mount Pleasant. The town is encouraging residents to contact an organizer associated with each site for volunteering information. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Can’t make it to one of the designated Sweep locations? The Beach Sweep still needs your help. On Sept. 15, take a few minutes out of your day to pick up trash at your neighborhood pond, on the beach, at the public dock, or in the park.
