Photos, Video: Beer Fest Called a Success

The town's first-ever Beer, Beats and Eats festival is being hailed as a huge success. Early estimates put the crowd at well over 1,000 people.

Food trucks, craft beer breweries, live music and attractions for the kids were the big draws for the daylong event.

Held at the Park West recreation complex, the event is one of two town-sponsored festivals held north of the Isle of Palms Connector.
