Circa 1886 hosts the 2nd annual Louie’s Kids Guest Chef Benefit Dinner, an evening of wonderful food and great wine. Joining Chef Marc Collins of Circa 1886 will be Chef Bob Waggoner of U Cook with Bob and Chef Scott Crawford of The Umstead Hotel & Spa.
Together, the chefs will present a four course, prix fixe dinner with paired wines. The wines will be provided by Perception winery of California’s Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast. With ticket sales and a special live auction, last year’s benefit dinner raised over $15,000 for Louie’s Kids, and Chef Collins and his guests hope to surpass that number this year. In addition to the dinner, there will be a live auction component.
Louie's Kids is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization that raises funds to help treat childhood obesity, which afflicts 25 million American children today.
