Home Sales Climbing So Far in 2013

Home sales increase 22 percent during first two quarters of 2013.

In a sign that the real estate market continues to improve in the Lowcountry, a new report shows that home sales jumped in the first two quarters of 2013. 

The Charleston Trident Association of Realtors said 6,117 homes changed in the region at a median price of $200,440 for the January-to-June period, according to the Post and Courier. 

That’s a 22 percent increase in sales and a 10 percent increase in median price compared to the first half of 2012.
