New Six-Story Hotel Planned in Mount Pleasant
New 133-room home and restaurant will replace aging hotel on Johnnie Dodds Blvd.
A development company plans to demolish an aging Johnnie Dodd Blvd. hotel to make way for a new Hilton Garden Inn and 5,000-square-foot restaurant, according to media reports.
The Mater's Inn, which is sandwiched between Wingo Way and Johnnie Dodds Blvd. will be demolished to make way for the 133-room hotel, according to the Post and Courier.
The project will take roughly a year to complete, once the developer razes the current hotel.
