Numbers Nerds Rejoice: It's 10/11/12

So, you slept a little late this morning and missed 7:08:09 on 10/11/12.

Today is a day that numbers nerds (like me) love. Several times today we'll have fun sequences and patterns of times and dates.

If you missed this morning's 8:09 on 10/11/12, that's okay.

It's a phenomenon that occurs, for the most part, once a year in the next decade or two of a new century and then ceases. There's nothing too magical about it, unless you close your eyes and make a wish at the exact right moment (just kidding).
