Poll: Alcohol Ban for Folly Beach?

A string of recent alcohol-fueled incidents, including a July 4 brawl, have some leaders discussing an alcohol ban on Folly Beach.

Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms and Myrtle Beach already ban consumption of alcohol on the sand, and Folly leaders plan to meet Tuesday evening to discuss whether they should pass the same laws.

Some visitors, however, say they come to Folly Beach specifically because they can consume alcohol on the sand.
