Shoe Carnival Opening Mt. P. Store

Shoe Carnival is coming to Mount Pleasant and the discount shoe retailer plans plans daylong events on July 28 to celebrate its arrival.

Customers can visit the new store at Wando Crossing on North Highway 17, near Wal-Mart and TJ Maxx to experience a new way to shop for shoes and accessories.

Grand Opening celebration starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 28. The first 100 customers will receive a $10 reward card to use toward anything in the store. Other special events during the day will include:

• A 10 a.m. drawing for free shoes for a year
• An 11 a.m. drawing for $1,000 cash courtesy of Skechers
• A drawing for a $100 Shoe Carnival shopping spree every hour noon-5 p.m.
• Doorbuster deals from 9 a.m. to noon
• Prizes and giveaways all weekend

Shoe Carnival will also open a West Ashley location on Saturday in West Ashley. That new store is located in Ashley Crossing, 2145 Magwood Drive, near Kohl’s and Marshall’s.
