Shop at Whole Foods, Help Land Conservancy
Tuesday Five Percent Day will give boost to Mount Pleasant Land Conservancy.

Shopping at Whole Foods on Tuesday will aid in preserving local lands from development.
Five percent of all sales at the Mount Pleasant Whole Foods Market on June 26 will go toward the Mount Pleasant Land Conservancy. The store selected the local land trust for its 5 Percent Day.
“Whole Foods Market cares about the environment and has always given back to the communities they serve,” said John Girault, Land Conservancy executive director. “The Mount Pleasant Land Conservancy is pleased to be added to the growing list of local non-profit organizations that have been fortunate to partner with the store for their 5 Percent Day.”

Some of the give-away items include the following: Land Conservancy T-shirts, Shem Creek art prints, tickets to the Golden Nugget Paddle & Party, boat cruise with Barrier Island Eco Tours, free registrations for the annual Race & Roast 5K trail run and oyster roast and much more.
