Towne Centre Farmers Market Opens Saturday
Second season of weekend market runs through mid-July.

Sunday marks the start of the second season for the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre Farmers market. The event, along Theatre Drive in the shopping complex, runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The market features in-season produce, specialty vendors, food artisans, music and giveaways. It runs through July 14.
Farmers, including Freeman Produce and Owl’s Nest Plantation, who offer organic farm-grown produce selections. Specialty vendors will prepare Lowcountry Stew, Philippine egg rolls, sweets, hand-dyed fabrics, accessories and more. New vendors will be added weekly.

Wando High School musicians and local acoustic bands will perform and jump castles will be provided for the kids. The opening weekend of the Farmers Market will feature a giveaway of sustainable tote bags which customers can then fill with offerings from the market vendors.
