UPDATE: Town Council has voted 8-to-1 to annex, rezone and to approve the conceptual plan for Oyster Point. Thomasena Stokes-Marhsall was the lone opponent of the project.

Oyster Point will appear on the council's September agenda for one more vote before getting final approval.

Some neighbors oppose the Oyster Point development because it could bring a potential crush of vehicles to already congested Rifle Range Road. The developer has promised upgrades to an intersection to offset the project's impacts.
