GCSO: Trio Charged With Rash of Simpsonville Autobreakings, Thefts

Suspects charged with several thefts from autos in the Five Forks and Scuffletown Road area.

A trio of suspects are facing charges in connection with several autobreakings and thefts last month in the Simpsonville area, according to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

During the nighttime hours between April 23-24, multiple vehicles were broken into in the Five Forks and Scuffletown Road area, Master Deputy Jonathan Smith said Friday.

During the auto breaking incidents, various purses, wallets, and bank cards were taken from inside the vehicles, Smith said. 

The trio is alleged to have broken into vehicles at 10 different residences, according to incident reports and arrest warrants. The suspects are alleged to have broken into cars at homes located on Bob Cat Trail, Squires Meadow Court, Watertown Way, Horsepen Way, Kingswood Circle, Bells Creek Drive, and Acklen Drive, according to reports.

Surveillance video from Walmart, located at 3950 Grandview Road, allegedly captured the suspects using the stolen bank cards, Smith said. 

Arrested and charged were:

Jeremy Michael Ginn, 35, of Simpsonville, who has been charged with ten counts of Auto Breaking, nine counts of Petit Larceny, and two counts of Financial Transaction Credit Card Fraud. Ginn is currently being held in the Greenville County Detention Center on a $71,623 bond.

Candice Marie White, 23, of Greenville, who has been charged with eleven counts of Auto Breaking, eight counts of Petit Larceny, and three counts of Financial Transaction Credit Card Fraud. White is currently being held in the Greenville County Detention Center on an $88,000 bond. 

Eric John Haggstrom, 25, of Simpsonville, who has been charged with ten counts of Auto Breaking and eight counts of Petit Larceny. Haggstrom has since been released on bond, Smith said.
