Hillcrest Rams Roll Over Rock Hill in 4A Playoffs
Hillcrest beats the Bearcats to advance to the next round of the state 4A basketball playoffs.

Sophomores Randall Shaw and Tyler Hooker combined to score 39 points β and state player of the year Tre Smith added 19 β as the Hillcrest Rams rolled over the Rock Hill Bearcatsβ 76-58 in the second round of the upper-state 4A basketball playoffs Monday night.
βThey shot the ball extremely well,β Rock Hill head coach Eric Rollings told the Rock Hill Herald. βThey are a good basketball team, and they showed that tonight.β
The top-seeded and second-ranked Rams (23-3) now advance to the third round of the playoffs. Rock Hill, who knocked off defending state champion Gaffney last week to reach the second round, finishers its season at 19-8.
