Obituary: Hazel Ellen Belhumeur of Simpsonville
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.

Hazel Ellen Belhumeur, 96, of Simpsonville, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2013.
Born in Union, MO, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Minnie Gillum, and the beloved wife of the late Charles Arthur Belhumeur.
Hazel loved playing bingo with her friends at the Ray Hopkins Senior Center.
She leaves behind two daughters, Donna Tolley of Simpsonville, SC, and Linda Belhumeur of Irvine, CA; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and one great-great grandson due in April.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two younger sisters.
A Vigil Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast, with visitation following until 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, with burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all of Mom's caregivers, namely Ingrid, Rosemary, Ida, Tangie and Sharon; to Mom's nurse, Betty, who was such a wonderful and compassionate person; and to Judy, Mom's patient care tech who always worked with song and prayer.
