Simpsonville Police are investigating a bank robbery Thursday morning at First Citizens Bank on Fairview Road. Police said the robbery happened about 9:14 a.m. when a black male entered the bank located at 636 Fairview Road and demanded money from a teller. The suspect did not use a weapon and left the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. Police said the suspect was last seen wearing baggy cargo pants with side pockets and a dark colored leather jacket. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Simpsonville Police Department (864) 967-9536, the FBI (864) 232-3807, or Crime Stoppers (23-CRIME).
