Simpsonville's Fales Named National Merit Finalist
Major academic honor bestowed on Mauldin High student Brittany Dawn Fales.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has announced its National Merit Finalists and two have received the honor from Mauldin High School — Brittany Dawn Fales of Simpsonville and Kathleen LeeAnn Cole of Mauldin.
Brittany is the daughter of Stephanie and Brad Flenniken of Simpsonville.
Kathleen is the daughter of Sandra and Tracey Cole of Mauldin.
Out of the 1.5 million students nationwide who took the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test last spring only 15,000 in the nation were selected for this prestigious honor.
