UPDATE: Amber Alert Canceled, Children Found Safe

Update: An Amber Alert issued for two young Chesterfield County girls has been canceled. The girls' father was arrested. 

WIS-TV reports the father, Dennis Matthew Penny II, was arrested after a police pursuit in Union County, NC.

The children are safe and in the custody of authorities, according to the report. 

Original story: An Amber Alert has been issued for two children abducted in Chesterfield County.

The vehicle is described as a white 2005 GMC Sierra Truck with a South Carolina license plate HXQ669.

The alleged abductor is Dennis Matthew Penny II, 37.

The children were last seen 7:30 a.m. Dec. 20. 

Dennis Matthew Penny III, 5, is wearing a Buzz Light Year pajama shirt with green fleece pants. Grace Elizabeth Penny, 2, has shoulder length curly hair, is wearing a blue shirt with a picture of a monkey on the front and red/white/blue pajama pants.
