Apply for GATEWAY by Sept. 17

GATEWAY (Gifted and Talented Education with Artistic Youth) is a Dorchester School District Two Arts program that has been offered for artistically gifted students for 22 years.

GATEWAY offers students the unique opportunity to work with professional artists as well as district arts teachers in the areas of creative writing, dance, theatre arts, visual art, vocal and instrumental music.  The program consists of five Super Saturdays and two fun-filled weeks in the summer followed by an open house and festival on the last Saturday.

Please note that GATEWAY is not a Rollings Middle School of the Arts program and participation in GATEWAY does not guarantee acceptance in to Rollings.  

Auditions for the 2012-2013 GATEWAY Program will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29. Students must attend a Dorchester School District Two school to be eligible for this program.  This program is designed for third through eighth grade students.  Applications were distributed to all of the elementary and middle schools in Dorchester School District Two during Facts & Fees.
