Blockbusters Remain Open in Goose Creek, Summerville

As three additional stores close in the Charleston area for Blockbuster Video, the locations in Goose Creek and Summerville will remain open, the Post and Courier reported. 

The close of Mount Pleasant, West Ashley and North Charleston locations comes as the video rental store company closes 300 stores and laying off 3,000 workers over the next few weeks.

That means Charleston area residents will have to travel to Goose Creek or Summerville for their DVDs and big boxes of theater candy.
