Coastal Carolina Fair Open!

Now until Nov. 4, the 56th annual Coastal Carolina Fair will be offering fair food, rides and entertainment at the Ladson Fairgrounds.

Tickets are $5 for children 6-12 and $8 for those 13 years or older. Children 5 years old and younger get in for free. Ride tickets are $20 each.

Money raised furing the fair goes to local charities. The 2011 fair raised more than $620,000 in grants and scholarships to more than 60 organizations in the Lowcountry.

• Friday, Oct. 26: 3-11 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 27: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 28: noon-9 p.m.
• Monday, Oct. 29, through Thursday, Nov. 1: 3-9 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 2: 3-11 p.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 3: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.
• Sunday, Nov. 4: noon-9 p.m
