Dorchester County is hiring two Emergency Management Department positions and Dorchester County School District Two is hiring teachers. 

The Emergency Management Department is looking for a shift supervisor and a senior paramedic crew chief.

The shift supervisor will earn between $51,404 and $61,684 annually. The successful candidate will supervise and direct subordinate personnel on assigned shift in the performance of emergency medical services activities, ensuring prompt and proper response to medical emergencies; enforce crew compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, protocols and standards of quality and safety; respond to emergency calls, providing medical assistance at the paramedic level; and perform related supervisory and technical work as required.

The senior paramedic crew chief will earn between $46,310 and $55,572 annually. The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise the operations, personnel and maintenance of assigned station; ensure prompt and proper station response to medical emergencies; enforce crew compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, protocols and standards of quality and safety; respond to emergency calls, providing medical assistance at the paramedic level; and perform related supervisory and technical work as required.
