County Hiring Risk Management Director

Dorchester County is hiring director of risk management and safety. Application period closes Monday, Nov. 5.

Salary ranges between $51,404 and $61,684. 

This full-time position has limited supervision. The director performs complex administrative work for the administrator’s office. Work involves identifying and evaluating exposures to accidental loss, developing and recommending reasonable and effective risk control policies and procedures, and for the administration of all risk identification, evaluation, and control matters.

The qualified applicant has a bachelor's degree in risk management, public administration, business administration, management, or closely related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
