Fire Department Reports $5k Radio Stolen
A portable radio was stolen from fire station on Luden Drive.

Summerville Fire Department has reported a $5,050 portable radio stolen from its Luden Drive fire station.Â
Summerville Fire Chief Richard Waring said theft from fire stations is rare, but they are amping up security.
"We're making sure we have the stations shut, and kind of an awareness level that our employees are keeping a better eye on the radio and their equipment," Waring told Patch.
