Give Back: the Palmetto House Needs Your Help
Here are some ways to help those in need.

In this season of thanks, the Palmetto House of Summerville has ways for you to give back to the community.
The Palmetto House (part of Crisis Ministries) is a transitional house/ shelter in Summerville. The Palmetto House provides shelter and supportive services to homeless women and their children.
The shelter is near the intersection of W. 5th North and Maple streets.

The shelter accommodates 20 women and children every night and serves three meals a day.
Here are some of the ways to give back:

- Volunteer to serve dinner in December and into 2013
- Purchase and prepare breakfasts in December and into 2013
- Host a fundraising drive or eventÂ
- Help with the organization's Christmas Gift List (attached to this story)
- Initiate a food drive with non-perishable items
- Donate money or food
