Have You Seen this Man? Attempted Murder Charges in Shooting

Summerville Police are searching for a man they say shot a Ladson man during a November armed robbery.

According to the incident report through Summerville Police, Major is the suspect identified in a Nov. 16 shooting at Planter's Retreat in Ladson. Police say Major allegedly shot a Ladson man during an armed robbery. The man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg. 

He also faces charges of armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. 

Major has no public record in Dorchester County or Berkeley County, but has a public record in Charleston County, where he has had several drug charges. In 2009, he was accused of assault and battery. Earlier this year, he was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, where he recieved a sentence of time served. 

Police confirm that, as of Thursday morning, Major was still at large.
