Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash
Coroner said the victim died with a beer between his legs
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-car crash on Jedburg Road Sunday.
According to Dorchester County Coroner Christopher Nesbitt, Johnny Carl Floyd, 47, of 187 George Keen Drive died at the scene of the crash, after crossing the center line and hitting a pickup truck head on.
Floyd died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital.

The coroner believes that alcohol is a factor in the crash. Nesbitt said Floyd died with a beer between his legs and had multiple other cold beers in the vehicle.
