McKissick Top Earner Among Summerville Coaches
Winningest coach in football history not the highest paid in the state.

Summerville Coach and Athletic Director John McKissick isn't the highest paid coach in the state, but he makes about 20 percent more than Ashley Ridge's athletic director, according to The State's database on high school coaches salaries in the state.
Last week, McKissick told Patch he took . He now earns $90,768 per year. He took his 600th win Friday night over Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes, where their athletic director Robert Behr earns $74,978.
Fort Dorchester's Head Coach Steve LaPrad is paid $77,418.

Irmo's Robert Hanna and Dutch Forks' Tom Knotts are the highest paid in the state at $106,214.
The database shows the salaries of S.C. schools' athletic directors, which, in most cases, is the head football coach. However, Ashley Ridge's athletic director is Behr, not Coach Kenny Walker.
