Multiple Arrests of Prominent Leaders Made
Hutchinson Square turns into a jail, as community leaders and students arrested in the name of fundraising for district's STEM.
Slapping on handcuffs on a school board member or a Google staff member isn't an every day occurrence. On Tuesday, business leaders, students and other community members were led in handcuffs to a makeshift jail on Hutchinson Square — helping to raise funds for Dorchester Two's STEM program Wednesday.
According to the district, just to fund the robotics teams, they need at least $100,000.
The arrests and fundraising will continue until 6 p.m. As of 1 p.m., more than $20,000 was raised.Â
