North Charleston Patch Launches

It's finally here: a hyper-local, community-focused publication for North Charleston.

North Charleston Patch launched Thursday, joining the four other existing Charleston area Patch sites in providing news and events online.

North Charleston Patch is run by Senior Local Editor , currently running Goose Creek Patch, and Local Editor , currently running Summerville Patch. The team will strive to cover community news from crime to arts and everywhere in between.

"I'm very excited to cover news in North Charleston," Street said. "This is a strong community and it deserves strong community-based news coverage."
