Palmetto Summerville Seeks Facility Services Manager

, located on Midland Parkway, is seeking a new facility services manager, according to Indeed.com.

The 60-bed facility that offers care to adolescent males is owned by Universal Health Services Inc. Palmetto Behavioral Health made headlines in 2011 with a series of escapes and incidents that ultimately lead to the erection of a new perimeter fence and upgrades to security. 

According to the ad on Indeed.com, the facility is seeking a services manager who is "inspired by a challenging and rewarding environment as a member of our leadership team to manage maintenance, housekeeping, and dietary staff."

Successful candidates will have technical training and expertise in facilities management, prior experience as a safety officer, knowledge of applicable standards and regulations in a health care setting, skills in responding to emergency situations, and more.
