Second Suspect in 2010 Murder Arrested
Mario Caldwell, wanted as a suspect in a 2010 McClellanville murder, was arrested at DBW Fiber in Summerville.
SUMMERVILLE — U.S. Marshals arrested an employee with DBW Fiber Wednesday in connection with a 2010 McClellanville home invasion and murder, ABC News 4 reported.
According to the article, Caldwell is the second suspect arrested in the murder of Melvin Simmons Jr. The first suspect was arrested August 2010, and his confession implicated Caldwell, ABC News 4 reported.
Caldwell is charged with murder, burglary in the first degree, attempted armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
