Summerville Man Gets 25 Years for Child Porn
Feds break up international child porn operation; Summerville man sentenced to 25 years.

Federal investigators have busted an international child pornagraphy ring and sentenced a Summerville man connected with the ring to 25 years in prison, according to an Associated Press article Thursday.
According to the federal prosecutors, "the ring produced and distributed sexually explicit images of babies and toddlers online," the AP wrote.
Shawn Kuykendall, 32, of Summerville, was sentenced Wednesday to 25 years. He is one of seven U.S. men convicted and sentenced on charges connected to the case.Â

"This operation uncovered a dangerous and depraved group of criminals who were devoted to trading sexually explicit images of children under the age of five," Assistant U.S. Attorney General Larry Breuer said in a statement.
More than 20 suspects have been captured in nine states, and authorities are investigating yet more elsewhere in the U.S., as well as Sweden, Serbia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
