Her husband had lectured his wife on her odds of winning (1 in 576,000 for the $10 Super Cash ticket), but she beat those odds.
“I had to eat my words,” he admitted, when she came home with a scratch-off worth $200,000.

She purchased the ticket from the Kangaroo Express near the intersection of Ladson Road and Miles Jamison Road. The store received a commission of $2,000.
Surprised by the win they decided to mull things over for a week before claiming the prize.

“I still don’t believe it,” she said. “We realize we can’t quit our jobs but this makes life easier.”
The couple is buying a house.
“I’ve been looking at houses online all week,” her husband said.
As of Monday morning, three top prizes of $200,000 remain in the game.
Since the start of the Lottery in 2002, more than one million college scholarships and grants have been awarded to South Carolina’s students. In all, more than $2.8 billion has been transferred to support educational programs in the Palmetto State.
