Swamp Foxes Force Game 3 for State Championship
Series between Ashley Ridge and Byrnes tied up for baseball state championship; deciding game 7 p.m. Monday at White Knoll.

Ashley Ridge battled Saturday to keep in the series for the state championship against Byrnes High.
In a close, 6-5 game, the Swamp Foxes forced game three, which will be played 7 p.m. Monday in Lexington, according to Live 5 News.
Ashley Ridge won its district championship and then went on to beat White Knoll and Lexington to get into the state championship. The team lost to Byrnes last week. The second game in the series was postponed due to inclement weather, and was played Saturday.Â
