Teacher Accused of Soliciting Minor Charged with DUI

William Albert Brown, out on bond already for allegedly soliciting a teen student, arrested for DUI and allegedly found trespassing at school Monday.

The former teacher accused of soliciting a student now faces a driving under the influence charge after he was allegedly seen trespassing at the school Monday, Live 5 News reports.

William Albert Brown, 49, allegedly caused damage to his neighbors' mailboxes, which lead to deputies discovering he was intoxicated, according to the news source. Click here to read more.

According to a Dorchester County Sheriff's Office report, Brown was seen by school staff allegedly trespassing at around 9 a.m. Monday, which was the first day of school. Brown is not allowed on school property due to his bond restrictions from May.

Brown was charged with assault and battery 2nd degree, and criminal solicitation of a minor in mid May. . 

Brown was initially on paid work leave but has since been terminated following the alleged May incident. He is being represented by Andy Savage, who also is currently representing Quintin McGrew, who faces child endangerment charges after his infant son was fatally mauled by the family dog.
