Thief Knocks Over, Steals ATM
Unidentified thief used stolen construction equipment to cash in on ATM.

A thief has stolen the CPM Federal Credit Union automatic teller machine early Monday morning, according to Summerville Police.Â
Police were notified by an alarm at 3:50 a.m. at the location near I-26 and 17A, 140 Westvaco Road.Â
When officers arrived on scene, they located a piece of heavy construction equipment, which was stolen from a nearby construction site. Using the construction equipment, the thief knocked the ATM out of view of cameras, according to police.

The machine was removed from the scene in an unknown model pickup truck. There are no suspects at this time.
