This Week's Meetings: Town, County Councils Convene
Final reading for proposed gun ordinance, speed bumps for Woodland Estates and more on this week's agendas.
Dorchester County Council convenes Monday for regular committee meetings and its regular meeting. Meeting begin 6:30 p.m. at the Kenneth Waggoner building in St. George.
On the agenda this week is:
- Third and final reading of prohibiting discharging of firearms in residential neighborhoods
- Request for prepayment of impact fees of Butternut subdivision
- Final reading of an amendment that will not allow the council to amend the agenda during a meeting to comply with S.C. law
Summerville Town Council's committees are scheduled to meet, but only the Public Works Committee has agenda items (see attached). The committees meet 4 p.m. Wednesday at the municipal complex.
