Town IDs 16 Needed Lights in Robynwyn
Street survey showed 10 bulbs in Brownsville not burning, and 16 'dark spots' in Robynwyn.

The Town of Summerville has discovered 16 dark spots in Robynwyn and 10 burned-out street lights in Brownsville during a recent survey of lighting.
The cost of adding 16 additional street lights to Robynwyn is $331 per month, according to Town Engineer Russ Cornette. Fixing the 10 burned-out lights in Brownsville will not incur an extra expense.
On Wednesday, the Planning Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval for that expense. The town also plans to survey the Oakbrook area for lighting. The survey began in attempt to increase safety in those neighborhoods.Β
