Trial Begins for Man Accused of Burying Son in Concrete
Roger Anthony Williams was arrested for the 2010 incident, to which his girlfriend has already pleaded guilty.

The Summerville man accused of killing his son and burying the body in 400 pounds of concrete will face a jury this week, according to multiple media reports.
Roger Anthony Williams has been charged with homicide by child abuse. He and his girlfriend Grace Trotman had told authorities their son 2-year-old Rodricus Williams had fallen into the water off of the Charleston Battery in July 2010.
According to this Associated Press story, Trotman led police two days later to the child's body in Orangeburg County. The child had allegedly died a month earlier. Trotman pleaded guilty to homicide by child abuse and will be sentenced after Williams' trial.

The child allegedly had health problems, but an autopsy showed he died from a blow to the head.
