Joker's Wild: Two Busted for Meth Making

Cops find meth in 'Batman' doll box.

The Joker is always tricky.

Just when you're sure that Batman's archenemy is on the side of lawlessness, a doll likeness of the Joker reveals illegal drugs and leads to two arrests.

Earlier this month, Summerville Police officers, tipped off by a citizen of possible drug activity, ran surveillance on two people recently released from jail. Officers dug through their trash on Old Golf Road, and discovered alleged traces of marijuana and a can, which officers said was used to smoke illegal substances.

It was enough to obtain a search warrant, and the search allegedly revealed the homemade chemical drug called methamphetamine, hidden in a Joker doll box.

Brandon Michael Komara, 27, and Amanda Lee Finkbeiner, 25, both of Summerville were arrested Aug. 7 and charged with manufacturing and distribution of meth.
