Two Ladson Home Fires Affect Families

Red Cross responds to two families after two separate fires damage and destroy homes.

LADSON, SC – American Red Cross volunteers were called this afternoon to assist a Ladson family of one whose home was destroyed by an afternoon home fire. The fire happened yesterday afternoon. The Cayce and Charleston County Fire Departments responded. The fire happened on 488 Garwood Drive in Ladson.

The Red Cross provided the family with temporary housing and funds to help replace the food and clothing lost in the fire as well as a comfort kit for the family and referrals to Red Cross partner agencies.
