Vandals Damage 16 School Buses
Summerville Police report $35,000 in damages from smashed windshields and buses sprayed with fire extinguishers.

Vandals broke into Dorchester County School District Two's bus lot on Boone Hill Road June 27 and caused $35,000 in damages to 16 school buses, according to a Summerville Police report.Â
Buses had shattered windows and windshields, and been sprayed with fire extinguishers. According to Durham employee Tony King, the buses are insured through the S.C. Budget and Control Board.Â

Police suspect the fire extinguishers were used to smash windows. The fire extinguishers were later located, according to the report.
