Wanted Man Captured in North Carolina

Cumberland County (N.C.) Detention Center has detained a Summerville man wanted for criminal domestic violence.

Summerville Police say Kenon Stevens, 31, held his girlfriend captive for several days, and beat and choked her, according to Live 5 News.

Stevens' allegedly abusive relationship with Shannon Caruso spurred fears that she was dead in September, but she was found safe. 

Live 5 reported:

Police say Stevens was wanted for severely beating his girlfriend on multiple days and threatening to kill her. The incidents occurred at a North Palmetto St. apartment between August 4 and August 6.
