The community is invited to attend Ridgefest 2013 to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. May 17.
Ridgefest is an event where Blue Ridge High School opens the school to the entire community to celebrate everything Blue Ridge-related.
Free activities and entertainment will include live band, chorus, strings and drama performances, petting zoo, drive-in car show, art show, history of Blue Ridge, quiz bowl, and cheerleading and wrestling exhibitions.

Paid events will include carnival rides for children and adults, athletic events, and a discounted book fair.
