Greer High's Virtual Enterprise Team Honored

The Greer High Virtual Enterprise team participated at a national competition in New York City.

The business presentation team of Richard Handler, Chanie Robinson-Cain, Mason Bruce, Dylan Long, and Jackson Tipton earned a top six finish out of more than 500 schools nationwide, becoming the first South Carolina team to advance to the national finals round in the 12-year history of Virtual Enterprise South Carolina.

In international competition, Greer had two students earn top spots in the Global Business Challenge. Richard Handler led a team of eight students from three states and three foreign countries to a first place finish while Jackson Tipton played a key role in his team’s second place finish.

In other competition Taylor Sanchez earned top 10 honors for website design, Crystal Helton earned top 10 honors for salesmanship and team of Crystal Helton, Taylor Sanchez, and Meghan Rood earned top ten honors for catalog design.
