The South Carolina Organization of Nurse Leaders (SCONL) recently named Carol Moody, senior administrator for nursing at Greenville Health System, the 2013 South Carolina Nurse Leader of the Year. The SCONL provides nurses with innovative leadership to improve health care in South Carolina by fostering the development of its members through educational and networking opportunities. This award is presented annually to a nursing leader who demonstrates leadership in improving nursing professionalism and the nursing work environment.
